Jaya to Visit Srirangam on June 30

CHENNAI: Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa will be visiting her constituency Srirangam on June 30 to inaugurate developmental projects, lay foundation for new ones and distribute welfare assistance to many beneficiaries.

Among the many completed projects, she is likely to inaugurate the Yatri Nivas near Sri Ranganathaswamy temple, built at a cost of `36.40 crore, for which she had laid foundation in 2011.   

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister condoled the death of V Krishnan, brother of  Dr V Shanta, Chairperson of Cancer Institute, Chennai. Expressing grief at the demise, the CM said, “Although no words of solace would really be adequate in such circumstances, I wish to share your grief by conveying my deepest condolences to you and to all the other members of your family.”
