RAMESWARAM: A Sri Lankan court has remanded to judicial custody 15 fishermen arrested by the Lankan navy in separate incidents, Fishermen Association representatives Wednesday said.
Mechanised Boats Fishermen Association president T Sesuraja said nine fishermen had been remanded till September 16 while six others till September 17 by the Oorkavalturai Court.
All of them have been lodged in Jaffna prison, officials said.
