CHENNAI: Over 20 MDMK functionaries and many workers from actor Sarathkumar’s AISMK joined DMK on Thursday. For the past couple of weeks, many functionaries from various political parties have been joining the DMK. An official from the DMK said a high-level executive member, R Sasikumar from Kangeyam town in Tirupur district, zonal chairman, Gayathri P Chinnasamy and 20 other MDMK workers joined DMK. Also, 25 AISMK cadre from Tirunelveli and Ramanathapuram districts joined the party.
