CHENNAI: DMK treasurer M K Stalin on Friday promised to complete construction of Uthiramerur - Walajah bypass road, if the DMk was returend to power. Campaigning at Uthiramerur, he alleged that though funds were allocated long agofor the project, the AIADMK government led by Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had delayed the project. He assured the electorate that the project, aimed at easing traffic congestion, would definietely be completed at the earliest if the DMK was voted to power.
