CM Reviews Steps for Conduct of Mahamaham Fest

CHENNAI: Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Friday reviewed the arrangements made for Mahamaham festival, ‘Kumbha Mela of South India’, which begins on Feb. 13 and concludes on February 22. 

Senior Ministers including O Panneerselvam and HR and Commissioner M Veera Shanmuga Moni and others took part in the discussions.

The Chief Minister enquired about the arrangements and directed the officials to ensure foolproof arrangements so that devotees can take a holy dip in the temple tank without any trouble. 

State Ministers had already visited Kumbakonam and monitored the measures taken for providing basic amenities to the people.
