NR Congress Extends  Support to AIADMK in Nellithope  by-election

All India N R Congress extended support to the AIADMK in the November 19 assembly by election.

PUDUCHERRY: With an intention to defeat chief minister and congress candidate V Narayanasamy ,the main opposition All India N R Congress (AINRC) today extended support to the AIADMK in the November 19 assembly by election for Nellithoppe constituency.

Announcing this at a press conference here today, party president and leader of the opposition N Rangasamy said that a unanimous resolution to this effect was adopted at the executive committee meeting of the party today.Another resolution adopted wished a speedy recovery to AIADMK supremo and Tamilnadu chief minister J Jayalalitha to serve the people in the coming days. Rangasamy said the decision was taken considering the welfare of the people and get rid of the non performing Narayanasamy government.

He said the election was one forced on the people,that too just a few months after a general election.In a bid to teach a fitting lesson to the congress and it’s candidate for forcing the election and to prevent the recurrence of such instance ,the N R Congress is joining hands with AIADMK and other parties opposed to Narayanasamy and will strive for the victory of the AIADMK candidate .

He said the N R Congress would form committees and undertake electioneering in consultation with the AIADMK.
