VILLUPURAM: With the formation of a low pressure in Bay of Bengal, the Puducherry Port Department on Sunday hoisted the flag denoting a ‘signal 2’ cyclone warning at Puducherry and Karaikal harbours. The Meteorological Department in Chennai had earlier in the day informed that the low pressure in the low pressure zone has intensified and might convert into a cyclone.
