CHENNAI: Attacking the DMK and AIADMK, of ruining Tamil Nadu under their rule, PMK founder S Ramadoss on Sunday appealed to parties, except Dravidian majors and BJP, to unite under the PMK to steer the State for its growth and development, besides purging deep-rooted corruption.

Talking to reporters, he said, “All parties, except DMK and AIADMK, must come forward to accept the leadership of my party.” He added that BJP was not welcome to the alternative alliance being contemplated by PMK. He said he was willing to welcome the Left, but parried a question on accommodating VCK.

He noted that he had already apologised two times for having truck with the Dravidian majors in polls. Training his guns on DMK, he said “When I refer to Sarkaria Commission, they get angry with me. Inquiry commissions were set up to probe charges against only two serving chief ministers, Kalaignar and Kairon Singh of Punjab,” he recalled.
