Actor Mansoor Ali Khan arrested for 'inflammatory speech' over Salem-Chennai highway project gets bail

The actor was arrested on June 17 in connection with his speech against the eight-lane greenfield project.

COIMBATORE: Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan, arrested on the charge of making an inflammatory speech over the Salem-Chennai highway project, was today granted bail by a court in Salem.

Principal District Judge P Mohanraj allowed the bail petition and directed Khan to appear before the police whenever he was summoned.

The actor was arrested on June 17 in connection with his speech against the eight-lane greenfield project.

During the speech, he had allegedly said he would kill eight people if the government went ahead with it.
