CHENNAI: The Madras High Court on Wednesday directed the State to file a detailed reply within a week on a plea seeking to reopen salons. The plea said lockdown has pushed several barbers into poverty, with some of them committing suicide. Justice K Ravichandrababu recorded the submissions of government pleader and ordered State to file reply by May 28.
