Chief Minister M K Stalin launched construction works on Porunai museum through video conference on Thursday. The museum will be constructed at an outlay of Rs 33 crore on 13 acres.

TIRUNELVELI:  Chief Minister M K Stalin launched construction works on Porunai museum through video conference on Thursday. The museum will be constructed at an outlay of Rs 33 crore on 13 acres.

Assembly Speaker M Appavu, Minister R S Rajakannappan, and District Collector Dr K P Karthikeyan joined the conference from Tirunelveli. “The museum will be constructed to safe-keep the artefacts from Adichanallur, Sivakalai, and Korkai. The construction works will be completed within 18 months,” said the district administration in a statement.
