HYDERABAD: Vijaya Bank is embarking on network expansion and wants to open 150 more branches in the country this calendar year besides two international regional offices in the Middle East and Singapore, Kishore Sansi, Managing Director and CEO, Vijaya Bank, said. To expand its base in Telangana, the bank is going to open eight more branches in the next six months, out of which, two will be opened on Saturday at Boduppal and Dammaiguda.

 Sansi also said they were investing more in Telangana. “We want to be part of the development of Telangana state. Our Credit Deposit rate here is 112%. We are investing more than we are getting,” he explained, adding that they have set a target of 120 branches in Andhra Pradesh by March 2016.
