Anil Yadav Elected Telangana Youth Congress Chief

HYDERABAD:  Former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav’s son Anil Kumar Yadav emerged victorious in the elections to the Telangana Youth Congress president post declared here on Saturday. Though it was an election for heading youth wing of the party, ‘senior’ Congress leaders virtually fought the elections to enable their kith and kin to grab the post.

Anil Yadav trounced his closest opponent former MLA Bikshapathi Yadav’s son Ravi Yadav by a margin of 1,800 votes. These elections were held on Sept 9 and 10 alongside the elections to the post of presidents for every Parliament segment.
