KARIMNAGAR: Roads and buildings minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said that anything can be achieved if there is proper vision and commitment. On Wednesday, he along with finance minister Etela Rajender and Nizamabad MP K Kavitha laid the foundation stone for a bridge on Godavari which was sanctioned at an estimated cost of `70 crore.
The proposed bridge at Bornapalli in Raikal mandal will reduce the distance taken to travel for people between Karimnagar and Adilabad. "`1 lakh crore projects are being constructed to ensure that water from Godavari reaches Telangana," said Nageswara Rao. He promised that the Jagganthapoor bridge would be constructed soon as per the wish of people. Etela informed that check dams would be constructed on Godavari to ensure irrigation water and within 3 years, 24 hours power will be supplied.
