HYDERABAD: About 38,33,907 children were vaccinated in the Pulse Polio programme conducted in Telangana on Sunday, acheiving exactly 92.1 per cent of the target (41,57,210 children).
ANMs, ASHA workers and others will go door-to-door on Monday and Tuesday to ensure that remaining children too are vaccinated. In Hyderabad and in urban areas of Rangareddy district, door-to-door vaccination drive would continue on Wednesday, said Dr G Sudheera, joint director, Child Health Immunisation, said.
