HYDERABAD: While temperatures continue to be above normal across Telangana, weathermen have predicted hotter days ahead. At many places the maximum temperature was recorded 3-4 degree Celsius above normal.

Temperatures are expected to stay above normal for the coming few days as dry northerly and northwesterly winds prevail over the state and there is not enough moisture due to lack of winds from the Bay of Bengal, said an India Meteorological Department official.

Mahbubnagar recorded the highest temperature at 39 degree Celsius on Thursday followed by 37 degree Celsius at Hyderabad, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Ramagundam, Hanmakonda, Adilabad and Bhadrachalam.

Night temperatures are slightly increasing at all places. In most parts of the state the recorded minimum temperature was normal and only at at a few places it was recorded 1-2 degree Celsius below normal.
The lowest recorded temperature stood at 13 degree Celsius at Adilabad on Wednesday.

Dry weather prevails all over Telangana.
