HYDERABAD: Intermediate examinations will start from March 1 in Telangana as per the schedule and a mobile app will be released to help students in finding their examination centres precisely.

However, the exam, scheduled to be held on March 9, has been postponed to March 19 due to MLC elections on the same day.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Board of Intermediate Education Secretary, Dr A Ashok, said hall tickets can be downloaded from website www.tsbie.cgg.gov.in

He also said students need not take signature of their intermediate college principals as there were complaints in the past that sometimes private college principals had not signed on hall tickets of students citing pending fee dues.

He said a mobile app would be launched on Feb 27 by deputy chief minister K Srihari to help students in finding their examination centres precisely.
