KHAMMAM: The government is implementing Rs 40,000 crore worth of welfare schemes for people in the state, said Minister for Roads and Buildings Thummala Nageswara Rao.
Launching Single Woman Pension scheme, providing Rs 1,000 per woman monthly as part of the government’s welfare programmes at Government High School in Kusumanchi mandal headquarter on Sunday, he said besides getting this pension, single women would be considered for other welfare schemes also.
