Municipal Administration and Urban Development minister KT Rama launches Dawakhanas with BP check

HYDERABAD: Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, KT Rama became the first person to utilise the medical services being provided in newly opened Basthi Dawakhanas on Friday.

After the inauguration of Basthi Dawakhana in Malkajgiri, he got his blood pressure checked and got treated for a injured index finger.   The minister said that state government was setting an example for other states in the country with its innovative health initiatives. After cancer screening tests, government will be setting up eye screenin. As many as 17 Basthi Dawakhanas out of the 40 planned are being launched in the city. Plans are being laid to construct 1,000 Basthi Dawakhanas across the city in a phased manner.Minister for Health, C Laxma Reddy also spoke.
