HYDERABAD: As expected, Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy, who had earlier shifted his loyalties from the Congress to the ruling TRS, has been appointed the chairman of the newly established Telangana Rashtra Rythu Samanvaya Samithi (Telangana State Farmers’ Coordination Committee) Corporation. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday made an announcement to this effect.

While addressing mandal and district level members of the Samithi at Prof Jayshankar Agriculture University here,  the Chief Minister said the government would soon issue the orders appointing the Nalgonda MP in the post.

The corporation will not only put in efforts to get better prices to the agriculture produce grown in the state by farmers, but also try to export agriculture products to neighbouring states and other countries.
Further, it will promote agriculture produce by taking up value addition activities such as grading, processing, packing and marketing of the finished commodities particularly by establishing a special brand of its own.
