HYDERABAD: BJP national president Amit Shah is expected to give the much-needed fillip to his party leaders and workers in the state during his visit scheduled for July 13.

According to party sources, Shah will hold a series of meetings with party leaders on that day to review their preparedness for the upcoming elections. According to party State unit chief K Laxman, the BJP formed booth-level committees in all 31,700 polling booth areas in the state.

In each area, as per the voters’ list, one in-charge had been appointed for each page of voters’ list. He is called Panna Pramukh (page in-charge).

Further, he will review the party activities at booth level and election preparedness in the 14 identified Lok Sabha constituencies which are among the 120 seats which BJP has never won in past.

“We are ready to face early polls. During his visit, Amit Shah will give us directions on how to further strengthen the party at polling booth level and face ensuing elections,” Laxman said here on Sunday.
