HYDERABAD: Shakti app, launched by the Congress to interact with its booth level workers, has turned out to be a hit in Telangana. About one lakh Congress workers from the State have already installed the application.

Former Union Minister P Chidambaram visited Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday to review the progress of the initiative.

PCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy informed Chidambaram that the Congress was trying to include at least 20 workers from each booth. Leaders believe the app will help in better booth management during elections through feedback from workers.
