HYDERABAD: Welcoming the verdict, irrigation minister T Harish Rao, who attended the Komaravelli Mallanna temple committee’s oath-taking in Siddipet, said that the efforts to stall the project works were not right.

The projects were being constructed with the blessings of Gods Komaravelli Mallanna and Kaleshwara Swamy. The state government intended to construct the projects to eradicate drought from the region. But the Congress had been opposing the projects and filed about 200 cases in courts and before tribunals.

Projects should not be stalled citing rehabilitation and resettlement package, the minister said referring to protests by people from Bailmapur village in Mulugu mandal.
