HYDERABAD: Good response has come from the aspirants for sub-inspector and police constables posts in the police department. There has been an overwhelming response from the aspirants in past 11 days. Nearly 1.75 lakh applications have already been received.
“About 45,000 applications for SCT SI Civil and approximately 1.2 lakh applications for SCT Police Constables Civil and above 3,000 applications for SCT SI of Police (Info Tech & Commns), around 2,000 applications for SCT Assistant SI, Finger Print Bureau, roughly 3,000 applications each for SCT Police Constable of Police (Info Tech & Commns) and SCT PC (Driver) and about 500 applications for SCT PC (Mechanic) have been received so far,” TS Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) chairman VV Srinivasa Rao said.
Interacting with media on Wednesday, Rao said they had been taking applications only through online mode in the prescribed proforma that was made available on officials website www.tslprb.in
