HYDERABAD: Temperatures continue to soar making life miserable for city folks as monsoon showers elude the city.  Areas like Begumpet, Asifnagarm, Ameerpet, Khairatabad, Bandlaguda, Srinagar colony, Tirumalagiri, Saroornagar, Charminar, Marredpally recorded temperatures between 38-40 degree Celsius, as per the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS).  The maximum temperature recorded in Hyderabad on Thursday was 37.3 degree Celsius.  Hyderabad will continue to experience hot days in the next two days. 

IMD said thunderstorm is  likely at some  places on Friday.   Officials said monsoon which has been subdued in Telangana since last two weeks will be revived on June 23 and some parts of the state may receive heavy rainfall.  However, not much respitecan be expected in Hyderabad as there is no rain forecast till Monday.
