Telangana to produce documentaries on BRS govt’s achievements in last nine years

HYDERABAD: As part of Telangana Formation Day celebrations, all government departments have been directed to prepare documentaries depicting facts, figures and achievements of each department in the last nine years.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari gave instructions to this effect to officials of all departments during a coordination meeting held here on Sunday. The meeting discussed the details of arrangements for the successful conduct of Telangana Rashtra Avatharana Dasabdhi Utsavalu. The 21-day Utsavalu will be held throughout the State from June 2.  

The Chief Secretary stated that all necessary arrangements should be in place to ensure the celebrations are held on a grand scale by highlighting the achievements of each department in the last nine years. All the important public monuments and buildings should be illuminated on all 21 days, she said.

MLC Deshapathi Srinivas,  General Administration Department (GAD) Secretary V Seshadri, Secretary Finance TK Sridevi, Secretary Public Enterprises Nirmala, Commissioner I&PR Ashok Reddy, Director I&PR Rajamouli, Director Culture Harikrishna and other officials attended the meeting.
