Producer CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment, who’s known for producing successful films like Attakathi (2012), Pizza (2012) and Soodhu Kavvum (2013) were successful at the box office, announced on Twitter that henceforth his banner would not encourage aerated drinks like Pepsi and Coca-Cola — both on the sets and in films.
He wrote on his Twitter page, “In support of farmers, from today we decided not to use Pepsi and coke products anymore.” Currently, he’s working on his directorial debut Mayavan, which has Sundeep Kishan, Lavanya Tripathi and Jackie Shroff in important roles. On the production front, he has Kalaiarasan’s Adhey Kangal and GV Prakash’s 4G in his kitty.
