The team of Arjun’s 150th film, Nibunan, is thrilled that Rajinikanth, who launched the film’s teaser, expressed his admiration of it.
The director of the film, Arun Vaidyanathan, says, “He was immensely impressed by it and wanted to watch it a second time! The first question he asked us after watching he teaser was who’d composed the music for the film. He also advised us to promote the film well as he felt it deserved that.”
The director also shares his plans of promoting the Kannada trailer. “Rajinikanth has a big reach across India. We are also looking at other stars from the Kannada film industry, like Sudeep Kichcha. Sudeep already saw the uncut version of the trailer.
Though it wasn’t the finished version, he loved it. We edited and made some changes to it later, and are planning to show it to him again to get his feedback.”
On ways to curb the leak of teasers and trailers, the director says, ”Such acts cannot be dealt with until people assume the responsibility themselves. Only if each and every person consciously decides not to support such acts can we do away with it completely.”
In addition to ‘Action King’ Arjun, Nibunan boasts of an ensemble cast featuring Prasanna, Vaibhav, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Produced by Passion Film Factory, the film has cinematography by Arvind Krishna.
