HYDERABAD: After opposing the state government’s plans of redesigning of irrigation projects, the TJAC will soon come up with alternative plans for the government to look into all the issues related to irrigation sector.
Be it redesigning or rehabilitation of land oustees, the TJAC will come out with its own solutions.
As part of this, the TJAC will publish a report on ‘Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme : Will it benefit Telangana state?’ on Sunday. The report was prepared by Biksham Gujja, an irrigation expert, Shiv Kumar, irrigation engineer and Raghu Kancharla, member of Telangana Electicity JAC.
The report will address all the issues related to the irrigation projects conceived by the TS government on river Godavari. The report will look into all projects right from Medigadda to Mallanna Sagar.
Former head of Research and Consultancy Gautam Pingle will release the report.
