KARIMNAGAR: The waterlogged Ramnagar Government High School has finally someone’s attention now. Local MLA Gangula Kamalakar on Friday inspected the school.
The MLA was on the school premises for three three hours. He roped in JCBs and hired workers to pump out the drainage water.

He left the school premises only when workers started filling gravel in the waterlogged area.
It may be noted that Express had earlier published a report on the hardships being faced by the students due to waterlogging at the high school. Due to stagnation of water, some classrooms remain locked as there was no way the children could reach the classrooms.

Earlier in the day the MLA shared midday meals with the school children. He also interacted with the staff and children and got first hand report on quality of food.
Authorities concerned and officials from the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation had earlier visited the school to solve the problem but nothing feasible turned out.
