KARIMNAGAR: Ahead of CM K Chandrasekhar Rao’s leave for Kaleshwaram project visit, a high drama unfolded at Telangana Bhavan where KCR stayed overnight at Teegalaguttapalli village on the outskirts of Karimnagar city on Thursday.Police placed huge barricades at the main gate and did not allow second rung leaders and party activists to meet KCR and this lead to chaos.
Giddeperumandla Temple chairman G Satyanarayana brought a huge photo frame of Lord Ganesh as a present for KCR and requested police to allow him inside, but the police prevented him. In this chaos, Library chairman Anugu Ravinder Reddy, who was standing behind party activists, got injured when the photo frame accidentally hit his right eye. He bled and was taken to a hospital.
While leaving, KCR waved his hands.Due to some problems, the helicopter took off twice and immediately landed. However, in the third attempt, the CM and other ministers left for their visit to Kaleshwaram project, officials said.
