HYDERABAD: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagavat on Wednesday suspended two SIs and issued charge memo to a DCP, two ACPs and two inspectors for their negligence in investigating the Swathi and Naresh cases in Bhongir.
The Police Commissioner said he had issued order suspending Atmakur SI for his negligence in dealing the Swathi and Naresh case. He also suspended Mothkur SI for demanding bribe from a landlord in connection with land disputes.
Mahesh Bhagavat also issued memos to Ramannapet, Bhongir Inspectors, Bhongir SI, 2 ACPs and Bhongir DCP seeking explanation in connection with the case. The Police Commissioner also warned that if any police officers were indulged in irregularities, officials would take action.
