2 land grab cases reported; KTR asks cops to act

 HYDERABAD: Two land grabbing cases were reported at different places in Cyberabad police limits on Tuesday. While Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud and his followers reportedly demolished the compound wall of a premises belonging to Mohan Reddy in Mailardevpally police limits, in another instance, a NRI Chandrakanth Kulkarni who was vexed over a local leader occupying his duplex house contacted minister KT Rama Rao on twitter.

Rao directed police to take action. “I returned to the city a few months ago from Dubai. While I was busy in the funeral of my mother in-law, PD Raj, tenant of my residence refused to vacate and vandalised my residence. I lodged a complaint,’’ he said. “After I lodged a complaint, Alwal SI Laxmi Narayana pressurised me to compromise with Raj Finally, I tweeted KTR,” he said. Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud allegedly threatened Mohan to vacate premises. “Based on complaint, we have registered cases against the MLA,” said police.
