Kidswear is a segment in the apparel industry that has seen a constant growth even at the economic downturn phases. Hence, it couldn’t have been a more appropriate time to launch a luxury kidswear label in India.

Armani Junior opened its doors for the baby boomers this week and it is the first luxury kidswear label to have a dedicated flagship store. Unique Eye Luxury Apparel Pvt. Ltd holds the all-India franchisee for Armani Junior and designer Suneet Varma, who is director with the company, took us through a wide-range of merchandise for new-borns, infants, adolescents and teens uptil age 16.

As soon as you walk into Armani Junior, a kurta with ‘Emporio Armani’ insignia for adolescents grab the eyes. Varma says that over the multiple meetings he had with Armani, he suggested a typically Indian outfit to be part of Armani Junior merchandise to launch the label in India. It indeed has been a success mantra.
