If the past week was all about B-town folks flocking to the capital for movie promotions, this week was dedicated to some indulgence in fashion. Payal Pratap celebrated the launch of her flagship store over a preview and cocktails, and fashionistas flocked in for it.

Pratap’s store at Lodi Colony market bears the charm of Old Delhi in its modern avatar. Her collection too is modern adaptation of ethnic Indian silhouettes highlighted by intricate embellishment using traditional craft from Rajasthan. It was a much-awaited store launch for Delhi’s fashionable denizens and was vividly evident as they indulged in some ‘retail therapy’.

The launch was attended by designers such as Namrata Joshipura, Gaurav Gupta, David Abraham, Pankaj Ahuja, Gautam Raka and popular folks like restaurateur AD Singh and Jeevi Sethi.

If you are planning to perk-up your closet with esoteric style, a visit to Pratap’s store is a must.
