Amid fulfilling his musical cravings,  artiste Pranav Pahwa loves to fly model aeroplanes. He says, everytime he does that, he also sees his dreams of establishing himself as a recognised figure in the music industry take flight. Having bagged his latest gig—a chance to perform Jazz, along with Kamakshi Khanna, a singer and song writer, at The Wine Company—he is on cloud nine. ‘‘I am very excited about it. I play with Kamakshi in her collective so I know her well,’’ says Pahwa, who loves just about any kind of audience, whether they are dancing, hooting or just sitting down and listening. It’s the music that matters, he says.

Performing as part of Music Gig-Cellar Stage, an initiative bringing the best of wine and jazz music together, the restaurant hopes to present a new flavour in dining to its audience. ‘‘It’s a new place and a new stage. It’s going to be more raw and interactive,’’ says Kamakshi Khanna, who though isn’t one bit fond of  model aeroplanes, but loves travelling in her free time.
