BENGALURU: “Munikrishnappa offered me chicken biryani before forcing me to sit in an auto-rickshaw. I did not realise what treatment was being given to me as I was under the influence of alcohol,” said Narayanaswamy (51), who was conned into undergoing vasectomy at the government hospital in Hoskote by Munikrishnappa.

Narayanaswamy told The Sunday Standard that six youths escaped from the hospital on the pretext of attending nature’s call while doctors and Munikrishnappa forced him to lie on the bed and gave an injection (anaesthesia). “I only realised that they did something wrong to me when I was not able to stand and was bleeding from my private parts. I am completely shaken by the incident,” he added.

Forced to Drink

Another victim, Gopal (36), alleged that Munikrishnappa forced him to drink. “Munikrishnappa approached me and said there is a free medical camp in the hospital and foreign doctors are providing treatment. On the way he bought alcohol and forced me to drink. He cheated us.”

The family members of the victims alleged that the doctors who operated the men should also be punished.

Meanwhile, a special police team has been formed to nab main accused Munikrishnappa (32), a resident of Mandabelle Road in Vijayapura.
