THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government declared a holiday for public offices and educational institutions in the Vengara Assembly constituency due to the bypoll on October 11. Employees in government offices, quasi-government offices and commercial institutions will get a paid holiday. Those who have a long commute from Vengara are also entitled to a holiday.
