Maradu Flats: Golden Kayaloram, last of five buildings razed down

After a dilly-dallying and long preparation, Kerala govt has been able to successfully implement the SC order without any big damages to the properties in the neighborhood in a two-day operation.

The 16-storey Golden Kayaloram, which housed 40 apartments -- came crumbling down like a pack of cards at 2.15 pm on Sunday, ending the two-day long demolition spree and a culmination of dramatic events. (Photo | A Sanesh, EPS)
