Mumbai rains 2022: IMD issues orange alert, predicts heavy rains for next 5 days

Many parts of the Mumbai remain inundated in waist deep water as incessant rains lash the city, causing flooding and waterlogging. People struggle to commute as many low-lying areas of the city like Hindmata, and areas in Dadar and Sion, including the Gandhi Market are heavily water logged. Three people were injured in a landslide near a chawal on July 6, as the city continued to witness heavy rains for the third day in a row.
