Cyclone Asani: Depression to turn into cyclonic storm, Andaman put on high alert
The IMD has predicted that the impact of #CycloneAsani will be felt more on Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bangladesh and Myanmar. The Indian Army and the Indian Navy have been put on alert in the wake of cyclone Asani. The storm, which is the first for India in 2022, has been named after a suggestion by Sri Lanka. The cyclone is expected to move towards the Bangladesh-Myanmar coast.
