NCP to name Sunetra Pawar as Chief on January 31

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has decided to name Sunetra Pawar, wife of late Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, as its leader. Maharashtra minister Chhagan Bhujbal on Friday confirmed that she will be named party chief on January 31

Sunetra is currently a Rajya Sabha MP and not a member of either House of the Maharashtra legislature. He also claimed that CM Devendra Fadnavis has allowed to Sunetra oath-taking as deputy chief minister on Saturday Bhujbal also said senior NCP leaders Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare are examining norms related to the mourning period.
