A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at Delhi airport on March 28. Flight 6E 579 from Visakhapatnam had an engine failure mid-air. A full emergency was declared at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The Boeing 737 aircraft with 160 passengers on board landed safely at 10:54 AM. The plane was grounded for inspection to determine the root cause of the failure. Flight operations resumed after brief delays with no major disruptions.
