Watch the interview with the N A Haris, Chairman of Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), who is planning a tree-planting blitzkreig on Kempegowda Jayanti on June 27. BDA will plant 15 lakh saplings in 12 hours to set a Guinness World Record. CM DK Shivakumar, along with 50,000 - 60,000 volunteers, will participate by planting the saplings in a select piece of 250 acres of land to create a Miyawaki kind of dense tree cover in the southern city.
