Two Afghan journalists were beaten for covering the protests led by women. The two journalists who work with a newspaper called Etilaatroz were reportedly abducted and then beaten up in police custody allegedly by the Taliban. US-based LA Times too claimed that 3 of its journalists were stopped from photographing women protesters and were forced to leave the area. Several other journalists including a Tolo News cameraperson were reportedly arrested by the Taliban.
