Trump calls off trade talks with Canada citing 'fake' advertisement

US President Donald Trump called off trade deals with Canada over an alleged fake ad on US tariffs by the latter's government, which has been vocal in its opposition to Trump's tariffs. The ad features former US President Ronald Reagan's radio address from April 1987, on 'Free and Fair Trade,’ in which he warns of the detrimental effects of high tariffs on markets and jobs.
