VIJAYAWADA: Gouttephone  Technology Private Limited (GTPL), a Touch Panel manufacturing unit  (OGS Technology), has announced to start its operations in Visakhapatnam  Industrial Park.Under the first phase, the GTPL Total invest `504 crore and will generate employment to 300 persons.
The  plant will be setup in collaboration with ForTrend Taiwan, leading  technology and R&D provider in touch panel category across globe with 19 production facilities by renowned global brands like Apple,  Samsung and LG.

Representatives  of GTPL, who called on Information Technology Minister Nara Lokesh at  the Interim Government Complex in Velagapudi on Monday, said that they were intending to make India as a hub for Southeast Asian market and also  set up a research and development unit.

Explaining  about various initiatives being taken up by the Andhra Pradesh  government for encouraging investors, Lokesh said that they are giving  the necessary approvals and land for those coming forward to invest in  the State.The minister assured to  extend all the needed cooperation for completing the Gouttephone.
