MOGADISHU: A refugee camp leader in Somalia's capital says an improvised explosive device went off in her camp shortly after foreign journalists accompanied by U.N. officials visited there. The blast killed two Somalis.

Yasmin Ali, the camp organizer, said one refugee and one Somali soldier were killed in Thursday's blast.

Journalists from international agencies like The Associated Press, AFP, BBC and the Spanish newspaper El Pais were on the one-day trip to Mogadishu, which came six months after the U.N. declared famine in Somalia. The blast happened about 20 minutes after the journalists left the camp.
