Eight Killed in Afghanistan Roadside Bombing

KABUL: At least eight people were killed and two injured Saturday in a roadside bombing in Afghanistan's Kandahar province, an official said.

The blast occurred at around 10 a.m. in Panjwai district when a minibus ran over an improvised explosive device (IED), Xinhua reported.

The victims were all passengers on the minibus and comprised five women and three men, the official added.
