Dhaka Schoolboy's Killers Get Death, Life Terms

DHAKA: A court in Bangladesh Monday sentenced a man to death and five others to life in jail in connection with the murder of a schoolboy in 2011.

Dhaka Speedy Trial Tribunal-3 Monday convicted the men in the murder case of Mizanur Rahman Babu, a 14-year-old Class seven student, bdnews24.com.

Rahman Babu was studying at the Kendua Naoparha School in Netrakona district of Dhaka division.

The court also ordered 10 years of detention for two other youths in connection with the same case.

According to the case proceedings, the convicts stabbed the victim, a Class seven student, to death in a paddy field in a feud over some money Oct 15 in 2011.

Later, the boy's father filed a case with a local police station.
